subwoofer price philippines EarthQuakeSound Subwoofer problem

This is the EarthQuakeSound SuperNova MK-V 15 subwoofer.

I've had this subwoofer for a number of years. Several years ago I had to replace the amp and transformer, and all was good for a little while. Then when I would put the volume on the sub at anything more than just barely audible, it would make what sounded like clipping noises during the real deep bass input. This has gone on for quite a while, and finally today I decided to take it apart to see if I could find something visual causing the problem

Doesn't look like anything easy. It's the speaker itself making the noise, unless that newer amp I put in is defective and clipping the signal at low frequencies. I made this video to send to EarthQuakeSound.com to see what they might be able to tell me.

This was a pretty expensive purchase for me, so I hope the repair isn't going to be equally expensive. The cost of the new amp wasn't too bad, so I'm hoping that if it needs a new driver, then the price will be reasonable enough that I can repair it instead of tossing the whole thing and buying something else to replace it.
